MP4 Watch Has People Watching Me!

Functional is the name of the game when it comes to the many gadgets in my arsenal of cellphones, MP3 players, PDAs, etc.

Whether it’s functional, multifunctional or unbelievably multifunctional, I’m not usually one to pick up a gadget just because of its cool factor. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve got my fair share of trendy gizmos that I love, and even a few that I spent a bit too much money on for the aesthetics while overlooking the functionality. However, I’d take simplicity and functionality over good looks anyday.

So when I picked up the Home Theater Watch from Gadget Universe, I did so with an eye to the functionality. It’s one of the smallest 2GB MP3 players that I’ve ever seen, and easily the smallest MP4 video player as well. I figured the rubberized band and sturdy construction would make it an ideal workout accessory (I’m working my way up to becoming a Pechman-sized technology reviewer, and with a 900-song capacity, the Home Theater Watch affords me plenty of time to workout!)

But this little gadget is more than just a MP3/MP4 workhorse…it’s got cool-tech cred as well. I can’t watch a TV show or listen to music on the little player for more than a few minutes without someone stopping me to see where I picked it up. Score one more for Gadget Universe for keeping me ahead of the technology curve and the envy of my friends.
