Wind Her Up… And Away She Goes…
Before attending the CES I had never heard of a motion watch. I thought, how cool this idea was. The guy must be a genious. With my previous watches, I had to either change the battery every 6 months or wind the other one a couple of times a day or it would cease working. This was such a hassle and it would always seem to end up giving me trouble right before I was to go out of town. Good ol’ Mr. Murphy thinks I need more stress in my life…
When I received my Steinhausen Marquise Silver watch (available through Gadget Universe) I was so excited to try it on. It only took me about a minute to read the directions, set the time, month, day, wind it up and it was ready to go.
I wore it to a trade show. The stylish good looks matched my clothing (comes with both a brown and black wrist band) and what a relief that I didn’t even have to remember to wind it. By wearing it, the motion is enough to power the watch. I went all four days without having to do anything! This girl is totally low maintenance. Although I have to admit when I woke up the first morning after wearing it, the first thing I did was check my watch to see if it was still working because I was always used to winding my old one at night before I went to bed AND in the morning. NO worries, it was working like a charm. Its accuracy kept me on time when meeting my buddy, Jared, at the show. By the way, it was great seeing you - what a blast the weekend was!
I also got the ladies Marquise Silver watch for my associate. She doesn’t like wearing watches with batteries and prefers a wind-up. This was so perfect for her. From the appearance of the watch, it looked like it was going to be too big and heavy for her small wrist. Not a problem. When placed on her wrist, she was very surprised that it was so light. After awhile, she forgot she had it on. She is so pleased with this watch.
