CAN YOU HEAR WHAT i HEAR?

orbitorlistening2.jpgWhile at the CES show 2007 I happened across a product called the Orbitor Listening Device offered by Gadget Universe. I will agree, I am a techie and I like trying out new gadgets. And one that you can hear voices and sounds from up to 300 feet away could be very interesting. I am always up to a new experience.

I live in the middle of a big city (in the desert). On my property I have created my own heaven filled with luscious green fruit trees, sweet-smelling flowering bushes and vegetable gardens. Always in the spring, when the trees and flowers blossom, it attracts different kinds of birds from all over. The sound of them singing provides such a soothing and relaxing atmosphere that can be felt right down to the soul.

The thought came into my mind about trying the Spion listening device to magnify the sound of the birds. Ahhh, like a symphony. As I moved the device around and turned the volume up I was able to hear them as if they were right next to me. So very relaxing… In the midst of enjoying my new toy, one of my neighbors came out of her house and disturbed my blissful state. She is the type of noisey neighbor that is always arguing about something and never seems to be happy. What is it this time I thought. I pointed the device in her direction. I am choosing not to print what she was complaining about, but what I will say, it was a little more than I wanted or cared to know about her.

So, take my advice. When you hook up your Oribtor Listening Device, be prepared for what you might hear.
